International students who are seeking admission at the University of Malaya are required to show their English Language Proficiency by qualifying exams such as IELTS. Students with a 5.5 IELTS score can join the University of Malaya for MEng courses only. Other courses offered at the University of Malaya such as MBA, MS or MIM required a minimum IELTS score of 6.
