To apply in the graduate studies at the University of Manitoba, you must have a minimum of an honors degree (4-years bachelor’s) or equivalent from a recognised university or college, with a minimum of B average (3.0 GPA) in the most recent two years of full-time study. Apart from this, you must also demonstrate English language proficiency and for these you can submit minimum IELTS/TOEFL/PTE scores, as required by the university. Some departments may have higher standards and additional criteria such as submission of GRE or GMAT test scores, and a statement of research interests or experience in the field.

At the Universty of Manitoba, all international students need to submit English language proficiency scores. The minimum overall score required forPTE IELTS is 6.5 with a 6.0 minimum score required in each section. However, apart from IELTS, you can submit TOEFL or PTE or IAEP (Intensive Academic English Program) scores too. The minimum overall score required for TOEFL is 86 with the minimum score of 20 required in each section. For undergraduate courses, there are more alternative options like CAEL or Cambridge Assessment exams.
