Yes, UMBC accepts international students from all over the globe. According to the enrollment data for 2024, over 14,000 students took UMBC admissions, out of which more than 10,000 were undergraduates and over 3,000 were graduates. Out of the total undergraduates, 484 people were international. UMBC takes several weeks to notify applicants about their admission status. This period allows the admissions team to thoroughly review applications, consider facts and make well-informed for its selected students. This waiting period ensures a fair and comprehensive evaluation process, ultimately resulting in the selection of students. However, for applicants who applied for MS courses they will get a revert by 1 to 2 weeks of their submission.

The University of Maryland Baltimore County does not mandate the submission of GRE scores as part of the application process. However, if applicants choose to submit their GRE scores, the university will give these scores significant weight in their evaluation. To send GRE scores, applicants must use ET’s submission method while submitting to the University of Maryland Baltimore country.
