UMass Boston ranking is #216 in the National Universities ranking as per a ranking publisher in the US. In 2023, this university was placed at #234 position. This shows that in the National Universities rankings, the university’s ranking has improved.

Looking at the acceptance rate, it can be said that the university is less selective at the time of admission. So, students who have an exceptional academic record and who meet the entry requirements have a higher chance of taking admission to this university. There are 100+ student organizations at the university, which can be a way for students to enjoy campus life. Also, the university has 18 Division III NCAA teams.

The University of Massachusetts Boston automatically reviews students for merit scholarships. A high GPA may definitely help students, but it is not a guarantee of the scholarship. The university strongly recommends students who want to receive the merit scholarships at the UG level to complete an admissions application by the early action deadline of Nov 1, 2024.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicants must have a 3.3 or higher high school GPA. The value of this scholarship is Up to USD 5,000. This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years.
