Students pursuing their higher studies at the University of Missouri can enrol into part-time jobs. Students who want to engage in part-time jobs are required to meet the visa guidelines. Only international students with F-1 and J-1 statuses are allowed to work in the United States. The guidelines for applying for employment are quite stringent. If students break the rules by working illegally, they risk losing their status and the ability to continue their studies.
