In order to pursue BTech from an MU-affiliated college, the selection is based on merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 followed by a valid score/ rank in MHT-CET or JEE Main. MU admission to all courses during the 2022-23 academic year started in the month of June and the deadline for filling up and submitting the Mumbai University admission form 2022 and pre-admission online enrollment form for UG programmes was June 25. Chances are that similar timelines will be followed during the academic year 2023.

Talking about seat reservations at Mumbai University, 13% of seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7% are reserved for ST candidates and 19% of seats are reserved for OBC category candidates. Other than the SC, ST and OBC categories, 11% of seats are reserved combined for NT (B), NT (C), NT (D) and DT (A) categories. Beyond all these, 10% of seats are reserved for General categories and there are a few seats also reserved for women, SBC, Physically Handicapped and other categories.

For admission to Mumbai University, application forms are usually out in the last week of May on the official website (mu.ac.in). Candidates seeking admission to Mumbai University for various UG and PG programmes must fill out the application form, followed by a pre-enrollment form online. For access to the login window of the Mumbai University application form, candidates are required to register first (on the official website). Mumbai University admission is currently open. The admission process is completely merit and entrance-based for all its UG, PG and doctoral-level courses.

Important points for Mumbai University IDOL Admission:Applicants should ensure that they have scanned their passport-size photograph, signature, qualifying exam mark sheet (and convocation certificates if applicable to the course), TC, and any other necessary documents as per the admission process requirements.

Students at IDOL Mumbai University are required to secure a minimum of 40 marks (out of 100) to pass a course. To clear a particular semester at IDOL Mumbai University, students are required to secure a minimum of Grade D.

To be eligible for admission to the three-year degree course leading to the Bachelor of Commerce, candidates must have successfully completed the class 12 (HSC) examination conducted by the various Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

The asked course is not in the list of Inter disciplinary studies of Mumbai University. However the eligibility criteria of Diploma in film making and other diploma courses is 10+2 in any stream.
