In general, there aren't any specific books to refer to for the entrance preparation however I would highly recommend you to prepare on the languages part, read them as much as contents, editorials and important articles by various authors these shall help you along. MCA is a popular course that makes your career in future and if you want to do it from distance university then you can do it. Distance does not matter what you study in your course. Minimum passing marks for CET depend on category. For gen it is 65% for sc it is 55%.
