Furthermore, the Shiksha grading system has also given an overall university grade of A to the University of New South Wales. UNSW Sydney ranked among the world’s best for 47 subjects. The 2024 QS subject rankings place 19 of the university’s subjects in the Top 50 worldwide and 10 in No. 1 in Australia. In Times Higher Education (THE) World University rankings 2025, this university ranks at #83 position, whereas in 2024, it ranks at #84. This shows that there has been an improvement in THE rankings.  Furthermore, in U.S. News & World Report Global Universities ranking, UNSW ranks at #36 position for 2024-25 rankings.
