UNT, as a world class teaching and research university, is as safe a major college campus as any. The campus is well lit, with numerous Emergency Kiosks never far away. The University of North Texas has convenient and safe bus service from all over campus to the parking lots and to the most popular apartment complexes around campus and around town; and between satellite campuses now.
