The University of Rochester acceptance rate is 39%. This shows the university is highly competitive and hard to get into. The low acceptance rate shows the university is very particular about its admission selection criteria. Factors such as secondary school records, academic GPA, extracurricular activities, and personality traits are the most crucial factors during admission. Students who aim to score excellent grades and take part in extracurricular activities still have a high chances of selection.
