According to a ranking publisher USF rank is #89 in the 2024 edition of the National University category ranking. In 2023, the university was placed at #97 position. This shows in the US-specific rankings, the university’s position has improved. International graduate students of USF may qualify for a Graduate Research or Teaching Assistantship. The requests for assistantships should be made at the time of the application for admission. To be eligible for assistantships, the applicants must be accepted to a graduate degree program. They must also maintain an overall minimum GPA and degree programme GPA of 3.0. There are a few other scholarship requirements that the applicants must meet and can be checked from the official website.

Yes, USF offers scholarships to international students. First-year applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships automatically after they are granted admission to the university. A few of the international scholarships for UG students are the USF Green & Gold Presidential Award, USF International Student Scholarship, USF Green & Gold Directors Award, etc. The amount for scholarships varies as per the scholarships. It ranges from USD 4,000 - USD 48,000.
