Stuttgart University offers on-campus housing to both domestic and international students. They have dormitories in the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus, which is a 20-minute ride via commuter train to the downtown campus. Student dormitories cost EUR 300 per month and EUR 400 is taken as a deposit. Some of the major features of the dormitories are:All single bedrooms have a sink, bookshelf, closet or wardrobe, chair, bed, and table. Every floor has a common kitchen.No dishes are available (students need to arrange this).Shared showers and toilets on each floor.Coverlets and bed linen are available for purchase at the office at EUR 45. For international master’s aspirants, this is included in the room rent. All the dormitories have internet access. If you do not get a dormitory through the university hostel, you can opt to stay in private student hostels or rent a room, studio, or apartment in Stuttgart.
