No, there are not any seat reservations at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. Students has to give entrance exam and after passing only they are given admission in the college.

For University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore boys hostel the fee is 90rs/day, it is only for mess. There is no fee for residential. For SC/ST Its all free for them. College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities and the facilities provided are good.

If the student is focused on placements then one should join CSE or ISE as most of the companies will be of software domain. Even the student gets other branches, he /she can prepare for software and can apply for the software companies. From college side all branches are average only.
