Yes, an average Indian student can join West Virginia University (WVU). WVU has admissions requirements for different programs, including medical school, landscape architecture, and others. WVU practices a holistic review of each applicant, including the incorporation of competency-based admissions. Although WVU no longer requires specific coursework, all applicants must be able to provide evidence of a strong scientific fund of knowledge and strong social/interpersonal skills. WVU does not have an open admission policy, but it does offer an early decision plan for some programs.
