Based on the NIRF rankings and general assumption by the public, KLU is considered as the best and better than Gitam Hyderabad as it is the oldest university as compared to Gitam and most importantly the placements and alumni Network are much stronger in KLU than Gitam.

Yes, you need to take GITAM Admission Test (GAT) entrance exam to join Geetham University, Hyderabad B.Tech courses.
