In order to pass the UP Board exams, the students must secure a grade point. For all the subjects except Science, the Theory mark is 80 and the Internal Assessment mark is 20. For Science, the marks allotted for Theory and Practical papers are 70 and 30 respectively. To secure an A1 grade, one needs to secure a percentage of marks between 91-100. To secure an A2 grade in the UPMSP class 10 exam, the students need to score marks between 81-90.

Students need to appear for 6 subject papers in UPMPS exams. UP Board 10th Class subjects include Music, Agriculture, Home Science, Human Science, Maths, Commerce, Social Science, Computer, Science, and Languages. The total marks of the exam is 600. To clear the exam, the students are required to score at least 33% marks in the exam. The students must note that the practical exam is held only in Science paper. On the other hand, 20 internal assessment marks are allotted in the rest of the exam

Every year, Lacs of students fail in the UP Board class 10 exam. However, many students find themselves unsatisfied with the result. Such students can appear for the improvement exams to improve their marks in a particular subject (s). The UP Board allows a student to appear for a maximum of two subjects in improvement examinations. The improvement examinations take place in the month of July every year.

There are plenty of things that you need to work on for better preparation for the UP Board Matric exams. First of all, you must download the official monthly division of syllabus from the official website. Thereafter, prepare a proper study plan while considering your strong and weak areas. Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) releases the UP Board 10th sample paper on its website. Students can download Class 10 Model Question Papers for UP Board 10th exams from the official website of the state board at upmsp.edu.in. As of now, the board has not published the Uttar Pradesh Matric model question papers 2025. It will be made available soon. Once released officially, students can download the same on this page. We will provide a direct link to download the UP Board sample paper on this page.
