After having completed your Class 12th from the UP Board, you cannot apply with the CBSE board for an improvement exam. Every board allows only the those students for improvement exams who have appeared in their exams. Since you completed your Class 12th under the UP Board, you are eligible for improvement exams through the UP, not the CBSE.For the reference, The CBSE allows candidates who have qualified in their Class 10th or 12th exams to take an improvement in one or more subjects, only in the succeeding year and only for students who originally appeared under the CBSE board.

Yes, you can choose the correspondence / Private option there from the board so that you don't need to attend the class regularly & the fees are less compare to regular. My suggestion is to go with NIOS so that you have subject wise option along with on demand exam option with 4 times in a year rest is on your decision.

Colleges and universities typically accept Class 12th mark sheets from various boards, including the UP board, for admission purposes. The acceptance of mark sheets depends on the specific institution's recognition and accreditation of the board. It's essential to check the admission requirements of the college or university you are applying to and ensure that they accept Class 12th mark sheets from the UP board. Most institutions have provisions for accepting mark sheets from different state boards across India. For accurate information, visit the official website of the college or contact their admission office directly.
