UPCAT Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE for Lateral B.Tech entry :
1. Lateral Entry to the Second year (Third Semester) in any branch of Engineering/ Technology :
-Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates who have passed XII standard with Mathematics as one of the subject are eligible.
-Such students must have passed from the institutions affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow and M.T.U., Noida.
2. Lateral Entry to the Second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology :
-Candidates with a minimum of 45% in a 3 year Engineering Diploma from an Institution located in U.P (40% for SC/ST)
-Candidates whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and who has passed three years Engineering Diploma with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engineering., Pharmacy and Architecture)
-Candidates who has passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject and who has completed a 3 years B.Sc. degree from any recognized University; securing atleast 45% marks (40% forSC/ST) in aggregate,
3. Lateral Entry to Second Year of B.Tech Agricultural Engineering :
-Candidates whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and who has passed three years Engineering Diploma in Agricultural
-Engineering with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P
