No, it is not correct that doing B.Tech from UPTU colleges is a waste of time and money and they do not provide any placement. There are several colleges affiliated with UPTU that offer quality education and have a good placement record. While it is true that some colleges affiliated with UPTU may have a lower placement record compared to other colleges, it is not fair to generalize all colleges under UPTU based on a few exceptions. It depends on the type of institutions you are studying in or want to take admission as in the government college the fees is low but in the private college the fees is high but both are affiliated to AKTU.
