There is no chance of getting a government college for the mechanical branch, but you can choose a good private college.

Yes, it is refundable. But 2000 rupees deducted every round if you participated. Threes options are available i.e. freeze, float and withdrawal.

Candidates must get the scanned copies of the following documents uploaded online during registration for counselling. Each document should be in 200 KB size only. OBC candidates must get their caste certificates made. UPSEE Admit Card 2018:
UPSEE Rank Card 2018:
Class XII certificate and marksheet.
Rural weightage certificate if applicable.
Domicile certificate:
Domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father or Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of UP.
Character certificate of Medical Fitness/Undertaking of Medical Fitness.
Domicile certificate, if applicable. Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if appli

You have very less chances to get admission in a government college for B.Tech but you can get admission in a good private college for engineering.

To take admission in a good government college with good placements your rank must be under 500 then only you have fair chances to take admission in a government college.
