First of all, thank you for asking question as this is one of the most common doubt of students . Let me clear your doubt
Your rank should be less than 60k and this rank varies from category as you already know. Not only your rank but your percentage also needs to be good for getting CS in GL Bajaj . If due to any reason you don't get good rank in UPSEE exam then you can also take admission directly in GL Bajaj, but for CS your percentage should be more than 80%.

First of all, civil service is a responsibility for us. There is nothing easier or harder. We should be dedicated towards our work, whatever it is. For your answer, IFS deals with external affairs of country. Ambassador and high commission era, etc. IAS deals with internal administration of the country.

"Treat Science like your best friend" and always focus on the chapter and try to overcome all the weak portion firstly which give you boost up to your confidence. Read your textbook carefully so that you don't miss any information. Text Book NCERT is the main arms for a fight with UPSEE question. As all question comes from your textbook, the syllabus is so large that it becomes difficult for one to cover all prescribed topics. Thus try to emphasize more on accuracy rather than quantity.
