Nearly 25,000 students appeared for the UPCATET 2024 Exam. The number of applications is increasing year by year.UPCATET Exam is for 600 marks in total and there is only one paper included in it. Candidates need to prepare well to pass this competitive exam.

The admit card of UPCATET 2024 was released in online mode on the official website. The authorities released the admit card on May 27, 2024. To download the UPCATET hall ticket 2024 applicants need to enter their login credentials Registration number/user id and password. After entering these details applicants also need to enter the security answer. Once admit card will be downloaded, save it for fututre reference.

Yes, you can apply for UPCATET after completing your 12th from the NIOS Board. The eligibility criterion to apply for the UPCATET exam involves completing 12th from a recognised board, even if NIOS is for open education, the board is a recognised entity. This enterance exam is conducted once per year to provide UG and PG admissions in Agriculture Disciplines. To apply for the UPCATET exam a candidate must hold a Domicile of the UP state, considering that you already have this, you can easily apply for the exam. The application forms for the exam were out on March 17, 2024, and you can fill them out till May 7, 2024.  Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut has released the minimum qualifying cutoff marks for UPCATET exam. The candidates from General & OBC categroy need to secure minimum 10% passing marks while applicants from SC and ST need to secure a minimum of 5% passing marks.

No, there is seperate entrance exam for all PG courses except MBA programme. There will be 200 questions for which 600 marks will be allotted in PG exams. The time duration for it will be 3 hours while for MBA the exam will be held for 100 questions and 300 marks will be allotted to it. This exam will be conducted for 2 hours.

The exam conducting authority has clearly mentioned in the official broucher that "Open & Distance Education" will be considered for educational qualification eligibility criteria of UPCATET. Applicants who have completed their education as full time course will be eligible to fill the form and apply online. Only those students are required to fill the application form who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities.
