Hii, The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) for B.Arch. 2024 concluded earlier this year. The counselling process typically begins in June and concludes by September. For instance, in 2024, the registration and document verification commenced on June 29 and concluded on August 10, with seat allotments and physical reporting taking place in August.As of December 29, 2024, the counselling process for 2024 has concluded. Information regarding the 2025 counselling schedule has not been released yet. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the official UPTAC website.Thanks.

No. It is to be noted that admissions are not guaranteed if the candidates meet the UPCET BArch cutoff. However, they will higher chances of admission into their preferred college. During the UPCET BArch seat allotment, various factors will be considered by the authorities along with the cutoff. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the cutoff to know their chances of admission.

Through the UPCET BArch cutoff, the candidates will be able to check the minimum and maximum ranks that the candidates will have to secure for higher chances of admission. The ranks will be determined by the authorities after considering various factors related to the qualifying exam and admission process. The UPCET BArch cutoff will be different as per the candidate's selected category and college.

Yes. The authorities are expected to accept fresh registrations for UPCET BArch spot round counselling. Candidates will be able to register for the spot round counselling at their preferred institute. However, the authorities will give preference to those candidates who have participated in the earlier rounds of counselling and have not been allotted yet. The remaining seats will be allotted to eligible candidates with a valid NATA score.

No. The UPCET BArch spot round counselling will be conducted offline. All of the registered and eligible candidates will have to report to their preferred institute to participate in the spot round counselling of UPCET BArch. No online counselling will be held. Candidates who have been registered for the counselling process but have not yet been allotted will be given first preference for allotment in the vacant seats.

UPCET BArch spot round counselling will be held by the authorities if there are vacant seats left after all counselling rounds are over. The spot round of UPCET BArch counselling will be conducted offline at their preferred institute. The details regarding the spot round will be announced online.

After UPCET BArch seat allotment, the selected candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their admission. For General/OBC category candidates, the seat acceptance fee is INR 20,000. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will have to pay seat acceptance fee of INR 12,000. The mode of payment for the UPCET BArch seat acceptance fee is online i.e., through net banking, credit card, debit card. After the seat acceptance fee is paid, the candidates will have to physically report to their allotted college to confirm their admission.

The authorities have not yet announced the UPCET BArch seat allotment dates. However, the authorities are expected to conduct four rounds of UPCET BArch seat allotment process. In case of vacant seats, the authorities may also conduct additional spot counselling rounds. Separate seat allotment results will be declared for different rounds of counselling. Candidates will be allotted as per their obtained NATA score, preferences, category and seat availability.

During the UPCET BArch counselling process, the candidates will have to verify their documents by uploading it in the application form. The uploaded documents will be verified by the authorities online. After the documents are verified, the candidates will recieve an SMS/email link. It is important for all of the documents to be verified, otherwise the candidates will not be able to fill out their choice of colleges for allotment.

To be eligible for UPCET BArch admission, the candidates should have qualified for the intermediate exam of the U.P. Board or 10+2th (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or should have passed the 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. All candidates should have a valid NATA score and should also meet the domicile requirements. There is no age limit for UPCET BArch admission.
