Instead, admission is based on scores obtained by candidates in other prominent law entrance exams, such as CLAT, LSAT India, SLAT, MH CET Law and others and other factors. Here's how the non-exam pathway for UPES law courses typically works:Through CLAT:Candidates can seek admission to the 5-year LLB programme without the necessity of taking the ULSAT exam, provided they possess a valid CLAT AIR (All India Rank) within the top 15,000. Such applicants will be granted direct access to the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.For the LLM program, candidates holding a valid CLAT PG rank and meeting the minimum qualifying marks criteria in Class 10 and Class 12 are also eligible to apply for specialization.Through LSAT India:Applicants who have achieved a percentile score of 60 or higher in the LSAT-India examination will be exempt from the ULSAT and will receive direct admission to the GD and PI rounds.Via Board Exams:Candidates who have secured a minimum of 80% marks in both their higher secondary and senior secondary exams, with five main subjects (including English as a compulsory subject), can be exempted from the ULSAT. They are eligible for direct admission to the 5-year LLB programs.

Yes, candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 can apply for BTech/ BTech (Hons) course with JEE Main or CUET score. Aspirants must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects.In case a candidate has not appeared for any of the specified exam, he or she can appear for UPESEAT. As soon as the selection round is over, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. UPES BTech fee ranges between INR 9.46 Lacs and INR 18.32 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee is calculated based on tuition fee and does not includes other fee components. 

UPES Dehradun admission to BCA course is based on CUET-UG. Aspirants who have not appeared for the entrance exam can come for personal interview round. Additionally, candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate along with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class 12 can apply for the BCA course. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. There are a total of 60 seats in the BCA course. The total tuition fee for BCA ranges between INR 3.42 Lacs and INR 4.82 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee excludes hostel charges and other admission expenses.
