The candidates should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in 10th class and 12th class with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects from a recognised board. The overall cutoff percentile for MAT is 70. University do not offer management quota unlike other private universities.

To enrol for LLM course admission at UPES School of Law, candidates must complete the basic educational qualification set by the college.
