The candidates should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in 10th class and 12th class with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects from a recognised board. The overall cutoff percentile for MAT is 70. University do not offer management quota unlike other private universities.

To enrol for LLM course admission at UPES School of Law, candidates must complete the basic educational qualification set by the college. Candidates should complete Class 10 and Class 12 with 50% aggregate. Apart from the senior secondary education students also have to complete graduation. The candidate should complete graduation with 50% aggregate or equivalent.Candidates must hold the relevant documents required for admission. The eligibility criteria for BTech at UPES School of Advanced Engineering are as follows: Candidates can apply through JEE Main, SAT & Board Merit. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in class 10 & 12 and a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) at the Senior Secondary level (12th class). Alternatively, candidates can apply through: SAT Cut off - 50 percentiles and above Minimum 80% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level and a minimum of 80% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) at Senior Secondary Level.

To be eligible to get the admission for MBA at UPES there are some requirements which need to be fulfilled such as - Minimum 50% marks in Class X, XII & GraduationGraduation from a recognised universityAnd students need to have atleast 70 percentile MAT score or they have to give UPES Management Entrance Exam to be eligible to get the admission.
