Your question is incomplete, as you haven't mentioned about the stream of engineering for the placement comparison. It is quite an important factor as the Institute's placement varies according them. However, if BE in Computer Science & Engineering is considered, the comparison can be like
BITS>Manipal University>VIT>UPES>SRM>KIIT.

According to me, UPES seems to be a better option between the two. The M.Tech. HSE programme of UPES will help you to manage the safety needs of the organizations. Further, you can choose a sub-domain under this course among:-
-Infrastructure Industry
-Power Industry
-Fire Safety
Apart from this, UPES has a different course Of M.Tech HSE with specialization in Disaster Management. So UPES will be a wise choice to opt for.

There are around 10 MBA programs in UPES.
Each specialization has its share of domain companies.
The job profile and the nature of the company also differs from year to year. On an average the average package, across all domains, is around INR 6-7 LPA.
