I think you should go for UPES Dehradun for your B.Tech as there is a more focused crowd of students there which will help you learn things in detail.

UPES is a good University have got all state of the art infrastructure and facilities but what remains is the transportation issue if you have not opted for college hostel and staying near the city where daily FMCG products are easily available rest i think you should go and check their official website for more info.

There is a separate entrance test for UPES known as UPESMAT for MBA candidates which is conducted at a particular date but this test can be postponed for special cases like you have and to get more clarity. I recommend that you should contact their officials for more details on this matter.

UPES added computer science and engineering in collaboration with IBM. Further, UPES collaborated with Xebia. Also, the placement is satisfactory. So, UPES is a good college to pursue CSE.
