UPPCS Exam Process

The UP state government holds the UPPCS exam to choose candidates for state public service. The post in PCS includes DySO, SDM, DEO, etc. This exam is usually conducted in June or July of every year.
1. The first step is to register for this exam in March, when the application process begins. You must have a Bachelor's degree and be between the ages of 21 and 40 in order to apply for the exam.
2. The UP PSC is usually conducted in three stages. The preliminary stage requires you to qualify for two papers: general knowledge and CSAT.
3. After passing these exams, you must complete a Detailed Application Form for the Mains, the second stage.
4. This exam will consist of eight three-hour written papers. A merit list of qualified candidates for the PCS personality test round will be created based on the results of this exam.
5. The final stage includes a personality test. Despite the fact that this stage is usually just referred to as the interview, it also includes the document verification and medical testing that will happen after the interview. In the end, the marks earned by candidates in their written exams and interviews will be used to create a list of the candidates chosen for various positions.
