The Commission removed the optional subject from the UPPSC Main exam. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission removed the optional subject based on the directives of the State Government. Earlier, the total number of subjects in the UPPSC PCS exam is 29 including four literature subjects. The candidates were required to select one of the optional subjects from the list. The General Studies, Hindi, and Essay paper were compulsory to all the candidates. The Commission should do the answer writing practice during preparation.UPPSC 2023 Main exam will be conducted from September 26 based on the new syllabus and exam pattern.

Yes, the UPPSC PCS syllabus 2023 will be changed because the optional subject has been removed from the UPPSC Main exam.The Commission will introduce two papers which will ask the local folklore, traditions, and other Uttar Pradesh specific General Knowledge. The Commission will soon release the official notification mentioning the said changes officially.The Commission introduced the two papers in the UPPSC Main exam. The Commission did not release the syllabus for the newly introduced syllabus.

No, the UPPSC PCS main exam pattern was not changed but the Commission removed the Optional subject from the main exam and introduced the General Studies Paper 5 and 6. These papers will ask the Uttar Pradesh specific topics and questions related to the local folklore of the state.The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission under the directives of the State Government, removed the optional subject from the main exam. The UPPSC Main exam is conducted as the offline exam in the pen and paper mode.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission release the UPPSC PCS notification every year to notify the exam. The Commission mention all the important details about the exam such as application dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, age limits, relaxation provided to the reserved categories, vacancies and the importatn rules and regulations that will govern the exam. The UPPSC notification is the oficial document which is referred to by the Courts (in case of recruitment related litigation) while interpreting anything related to the exam.

UPPSC 2023 notification was released online on March 3. The UPPCS 2023 form link was also activated for the candidates. The last date to apply for the UPPSC 2023 exam is April 6. The Commission will conduct the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam 2023 on May 14. The Commission will conduct the UPPCS main exam from September 26 as per the new exam pattern and syllabus. The Commission did not mention syllabi of the newly introduced papers.The Commission released the UPPSC prelims 2023 result in June and released the UPPCS 2023 main admit card on September 17.

The Commission released the cutoff for all the post groups and categories on December 20. The highest cutoff was noted for the unreserved category for the Executive group of posts. The UPPCS prelims cutoff 2021 for the unreserved category was 115.The Commission mention the UPPCS cutoff for each of the category separately. The Commission mention the Prelims Cutoff for all the post groups and for all the categories in the UPPSC cutoff list.

Yes, UPPSC PCS prelims 2021 cutoff was released by the Commission on December 20, 2022. The Commission released the UPPCS prelims cutoff 2021 for all the post groups and categories. The candidates are required to score equal to or more than the cutoff to clear the exam.The Commission releases the UPPCS cutoff separately for the Prelims and Main exam. The Commission mention the UPPCS cutoff for each post group and category separately. The candidates should note that there is a separate cutoff for the Female Category.
