UPSC Eligibility

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for All India Services.Other Nationalities: Foreign nationals, including citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, are also eligible to apply for the IAS exam. Candidates from various academic backgrounds, including science, engineering, commerce, humanities, and others, are eligible to apply.Candidates in the Final Year: Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor's degree programme are also eligible to apply for the IAS exam. However, they must ensure that they can provide proof of passing the required examination and obtaining their degree before the specified dates mentioned in the UPSC notification.
