For preparing for any exams like UPSC you need to give your best consistently. Start from going through the syllabus and last year exams paper. It's helps to find the strong and weak subject's of yours. Then you can make a timetable by dividing your time for different subjects as time plays an important role in the exam.

Hello Muskan, When you apply for a UPSC exam, it doesn't really matter what field of study you have, therefore you can choose any course for your UG programme. It is important that you have a degree and that you perform well on the exam. Consult the NCERT texts of geography, history, and civics from classes nine through twelve as you get ready for the test. To pass the exam, read at least two newspapers every day and sign up for the mock test series.

NCERT books have concise information in straightforward language, making it easy to understand. Moreover, they are essential from both UPSC Prelims and Mains exam perspective. You will get many questions in the IAS/IPS Exam directly or indirectly from NCERT textbooks.
