Yes, you may be eligible for UPTAC counselling if you passed your 10th and 12th classes in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and are a resident of Madhya Pradesh (MP): You can be eligible for UPTAC counselling if you passed your qualifying exam from an institution in UP or are a domicile of If you passed your qualifying exam from outside UP, you can still be eligible if your parents are domiciled in UP. You'll need to upload a domicile certificate for your parents during online registration and produce it in original at the time of offline verification.

Eligibility criteria: For filling up the 2024 UPTAC application form, candidates have to satisfy the eligibility criteria. The candidate must be passed 10+2 from a Science stream which consists of subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Candidates must have 45% marks in all the subjects which can be relaxed up to 40% for SC/ST students. Candidates need to be Indian nationals or must hold NRI/PIO status. There is no upper age limit for candidates. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from any institution in Uttar Pradesh or are domiciled in the state can also apply.

Physical reporting in UPTAC counselling means candidates who are allotted seats and pay the seat confirmation fee will be required to report physically to the allotted institute on the date specified per the UPTAC counselling details.

No. Candidates who have withdrawn in previous stages of UPTAC counselling cannot appear in the later rounds of the counselling process.

No. Candidates who have been allotted seats (Freeze/Float) but have not paid the seat acceptance fee in the first stage of the UPTAC counselling cannot participate in the further rounds of counselling.

The following candidates are eligible for UPTAC round 2 counselling:Candidates who have registered and paid the registration fee but did not select any options in the first phase will not be permitted to enter new options or modify existing ones. A candidate who opts to "float" retains their assigned seat in UPTAC counselling while remaining eligible for additional rounds of counseling. Candidates who select the "float" option may be considered for a lower preference.
