The class 12 marks is not considered while alloting seat to the candidates. BTech seats are allocated based on JEE Main ranks only. However, to be eligible for UPTAC counselling, candidates must have atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) aggregate marks in class 12.

Candidates can withdraw their seats from UPTAC counselling by selecting the "Withdrawal" option. Once a seat is accepted, candidates may choose to withdraw, but they should think carefully before doing so, as AKTU will not permit them to participate in any subsequent rounds.

The last round of the UPTAC counselling is called the special round. Candidates who have confirmed their seats after last main round of the counselling process are not eligible for this round. Or, all such candidates who have been allotted seats and have paid seat acceptance fee but have not withdrawn in Stage 2 & 3 cannot appear in this round.Fresh registration are held for the special round. Candidates have to register for using the link available on the official website of UPTAC for participating in UPTAC special counselling round.

The counselling is held at state level based on scores f various national level enetrance exms liks JEE Mains, NATA, CUET UG and PG. UPTAC counselling usually has 5 rounds and 1 special round. Candidates eligible for UPTAC counselling must complete the UPTAC registration, upload their documents, undergo document verification, fill in their choices, check the allotted seats, submit their willingness, and pay the seat confirmation fee. After the online UPTAC counselling concludes, candidates are required to physically report to finalize the admission process.

The official website for UPTAC counselling is uptac.admissions.nic.in. UPTAC counselling will be held online and the complete UPTAC 2025 counselling schedule will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates have to register for UPTAC counselling on the official website only and all the counselling related information will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates must keep track of the official website for all the UPTAC counselling updates.

The UPTAC counselling schedle is expected to be available in June 2025. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will publish the full schedule for UPTAC 2025 counseling on the official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in. This schedule will outline the dates for UPTAC 2025 registration, document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment. There will be five counseling rounds and one special round, with the details for each round provided by AKTU.

At CRL 909021, it is highly improbable one can get a seat in BBDITM (Babu Banarasi Das Instt of Technology & Management), or even SRMCEM (Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering & Mant) at Lucknow. Often, these institutions have cutoffs for ranks which are much lower than your rank going from 50-150K. However, as SRM is a private college JEE Mains will not be accepted and only the entrance exam for it; SRMJEEE scores isInstitute can vary its cut off to essay admission.
