No, there is no negative marking in the UPTET exam. In the UPTET exam, candidates are given four choices for every question. Candidates need to select the one correct answer out of the four given options. One mark is allotted for every correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has not mentioned any negative marking scheme in the UPTET exam. This means that candidates are not penalized for incorrect answers in the UPTET exam. Candidates are advised to attempt all the questions in the UPTET exam to maximize their chances of scoring well.

The UPTET 2024 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be conducted in pen paper based mode. The candidates will be provided with OMR sheet that will comprise 150 questions and their options. The candidates have to fill out the OMR sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will be provided to the candidate. So, the candidates are advised to fill out their name, roll number, date, date of birth subject code carefully. If the candidates makes mistakes in filling out these descriptions there are chances that the OMR sheet will be rejected by the board.

After qualifying the UPTET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. UPTET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the UPTET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the school of Uttar Pradesh. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The UP government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the need of the state.
