The UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level eligibility test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) to recruit eligible candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a mandatory exam for candidates who wish to teach in government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
The UPTET exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach classes I to VIII have to appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

In Central Teacher Eligibility Test and Rajasthan Eligibility, Examination for Teachers Papers (both papers I and II) contain 5 sections and each section consists of 15 questions from Pedagogy issues and the other 15 ques from the content part. Yes, you can take the UPTET exam with your NTT Diploma. You are eligible to apply for a teaching position in primary classes. According to the eligibility criteria of UPTET, one can appear for this exam if they have done any of the following:
1. A Bachelor's degree with an NTT Diploma course
2. A Bachelor's degree with two years of B. T. C.
3. A two-year Diploma (D. Ed. ) and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the required marks.
4. You have completed the special BTC training course after graduation. These are the eligibility criteria for the primary level teacher post, and since you have done NTT, you can apply for it if your graduation is done.

3- Pay Scale (as per 7th pay commission);
Primary Teacher: INR 9,300-INR 34,800 with Grade Pay of INR 4,200
Upper Primary Teacher: INR 9,300-INR 34,800 with Grade Pay of INR 4,600
4- House Rent Allowances (HRA):
Primary Teacher: INR 3,240
Upper Primary Teacher: INR 4,110
5- Dearness Allowances (DA);
Primary Teacher: 12 percent of basic pay
Upper Primary Teacher: 12 percent of basic pay
6- Total Salary (approximately);
