- For General and OBC candidates: 60% marks (90 marks out of 150)
- For SC/ST candidates: 55% marks (82 marks out of 150)
Candidates who score equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks are considered to have qualified the UPTET exam. It is important to note that the qualifying marks are the minimum marks required to pass the exam and do not guarantee selection for a teaching job. a) Shift 1 is conducted from 10:00 am-12:30 pm for UPTET Paper 1
b) Shift 2 is conducted from 2:30-5:00 pm for UPTET Paper 2
However, the shift timing can be changed by the board. Though, the candidates will be informed by the board before if any changes are made for the UPTET exam.
