No, GRE is not necessary for the University of Texas at Arlington. UTA is test score optional through the summer of 2024. International students are advised to contact their respective academic departments to check if GRE/GMAT score is necessary for their specific course. However, international students will be eligible to get a 50% GRE fee reduction voucher for a general test and/or a subject test. Similarly, for GMAT, admissions to UTA is GMAT test score optional.
