It depends on the university. If you wanna get into the top university then this may affect your profile but an average university may not consider it much.                                                            If you want to be a part of a good university then try to strengthen your profile.

Once the application form is filled out and all the necessary documents are attached, international students need to pay a non-refundable application fee of USD 70/INR 5,835. If the application fee is not paid then Virginia Tech will not be process your application. International students can pay this application fee electronically either by a debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover). The application fee is non-refundable, meaning, if you withdraw your application from the university, your application fee will not be refunded.*USD/INR = 83.36
