There are some exams which are mandatory for students who want to study in the US:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is taken by students who want to pursue for the Bachelors degree in the United States. This is to test the English proficiency of non-native speakers of English. SAT 1 (Scholastic Aptitude Test 1) is again for those interested in pursuing Bachelors degree in the US. It includes multiple choice questions of verbal & mathematics section. GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is taken by the students who want to get Masters degree in the USA. It is Computer Adaptive Test (CAT). GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) is for those wanting to pursue MBA degree in The United States of America. The Bachelors degree programme is of 4 years with 2 semesters per year. However, accelerated programs are also available for students who want to complete the degree in lesser time. And the admissions will be based on the scores of students in TOEFL & SAT.
