Techno India University accepts WBJEE entrance exam scores for admission to its BE/ BTech courses. During the WBJEE last-round cutoff 2024, the closing ranks varied between 21382 and 108510 for the General AII India Quota. In the first-round, the cutoff ranged between 18777 and 108510. So, considering both the rounds, candidates with a rank of 14869 is a good rank to take admission at the Techno India University. Yes, candidates can take admission in Techno Main Salt Lake without JEE in B.Tech. Techno Main Salt Lake offers admission to B.Tech courses based on marks obtained in WBJEE entrance exam. Admission is based on counseling based on the rank obtained in these exams. The college uses a single window counseling process at the campus. Mainly the college placement cell are very greater good and have been placed many students in very big tech companies like Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, HP and .etc. latestly in 2022 some of students have got 20 LPA the highest package from the college. And the average package dates from 3.75 LPA to 7LPA per year

Firstly you should prepare for the entrance exams like CAT, MAT or CMAT and perform well in them. The scores of these entrance exams will be considered for the admission in Techno Main Salt Lake. Also the college is evolving right now in the terms of campus. Though there will be no ragging as there are very strict rules for it and it is considered seriously.

CAT score is not considered for getting admission to the MBA at Techno Main Salt Lake. To be eligible for the courses, the candidate must score a minimum of 40% marks in graduation in a relevant field from any recognized university. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 5.17 Lakhs.

CSE is one of the top branches of Techno Main Salt lake College, but I would not suggest it as the first option for B.Tech in CSE. You can try for it if you are not getting any college through JEE Mains or WBJEE rank or can try direct admission in any other college. It does not have any much of campus life and no surety if there are hostels available or not and no clarity on the faculty qualifications also.

Though there is no official data available for placements on the official site of Techno main Salt College but according to the students, the highest package offered is 45 LPA with average package of 4-5 LPA. The lowest package was given of 2.8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture and many more. For the college which is ranked 4th in West Bengal the placement numbers are a bit low.
