The UTET certificate is now valid forever. Ramesh Pokhariyal, Indian Education Minister has announced that the validity of the TET certificate is extended for a lifetime. Earlier the validity of the certificates was 5 years. Candidates qualifying for the UTET 2024 exam will be the first batch of candidates with a lifetime UTET certificate. They can apply for teacher recruitment in Uttarakhand schools at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria fixed by the respective recruiting agency.
