Utkal University has 381 affiliated colleges. These colleges offer various UG, PG, and PhD courses in different streams, such as Humanities, Social Sciences, Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Medicine, Homoeopathy, Law, etc. Candidates for UG courses are selected on a first-come, first-served basis, and candidates for PG courses like MA and M.Com. are selected with the entrance examination and merit-based selection followed by the interview or group discussion.
