After completion of the course you can find employment both in the public a well as private sector.In the public sector, one can find employment with Directorates and Departments of tourism of the center and the state, guides etc, while in the private sector he/she can secure a job in a travel agency, hotel, airline, transport agency or a cargo company.
The good thing about this industry is that one can always move up the career ladder fast and establish his own agency after a few years as this industry is a comparatively new one and hence lacks experienced individuals. Top universities offering course in this field are UTM Shillong, BH

Yes amity is good,
The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue , the details of some courses is stated below:
Diploma –Class 10th pass from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate & PG programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams

You have to appear entrances like MAT/CMAT/CAT. IITTM organises its own entrance but they also have seats based on MAT exam score card. All the best. Thank you.

May be, you will be able to get a job. For that you have to be good at English, Hindi and the local language . But, my idea is that you should study further and do some specialisation. 12th is too early as a launching pad for career. So, be patient and go further.
