Allahabad State University (formerly known as Prof. Rajendra Singh University) doesn't offer the BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) program. However, the State Unani Medical College (SUMC) located in Prayagraj, which is affiliated with Prof. Rajendra Singh University, does offer the BUMS program. Here's the eligibility criteria for the BUMS programme at SUMC:Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects and English as a mandatory subject. Minimum marks requirement is 50% for general category students.Passed Class 10th with Urdu, Arabic, or Persian language as a subject or passed the Urdu test of Class 10th (preference given to students with Urdu proficiency).

Each year the number of visiting companies is increasing and also almost every student will be placed by the end of their period. 95% is the placement percentage for our batch and a minimum of 90% is guaranteed every year. A placement cell is particular for every department and they approach different top-class companies every year to visit the college so far they have done a tremendous job in doing so. One can attend any number of companies as long as they are applying for a better job than they previously got so that every student gets the opportunity to get placed. Coming to the packages, an average salary of INR 4-5 LPA is maintained every year with the least being INR 4 LPA and the highest being INR 32-38 LPA (Or even more).
