MNNIT is one of the institute of national importance. It is far better than any private institute to get admission. You get much better campus life than any other institute. Professors are from different NITS and IIT so you get best exposure here in any expect. You get opportunity for in campus internships and placements.

Candidates must appear for JEE Mains qualified with at leat 96%ile to secure a seat. You must be 10+12 passed with 75% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.Application is accepted through josa counselling every year and seats are allocated as per the merit of candidates.There will total 6 rounds of seat allotment and 2 special rounds for vacant seat.

Seats are reserved in each branch for different categories. Around 15% of total seats i.e 125 seats are reserved for DASA candidates.14% seats are reserved for female candidates. 50% seats are reserved for state quota in every NIT. 27% for OBC ,10% for Ews, 15% for SC, 7.5% ST, and 5% for PWD candidates are reserved.
