The QS Guage rating organisation has awarded Chandigarh University with the Diamond Scale based on the organisation's internationally recognised standards. The QS GAUGE rating system is one of a kind because it combines the global expertise, experience, and reputation of the UK company QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) with the essence of the flexible Indian higher education system and aligns itself with international standards and best practices. This results in a rating system that is truly one of a kind. As a result of having the maximum number of campus placement companies in a single academic year, Chandigarh University is now recognised in the Limca Book of Records. Major companies have recruited engineering students from Chandigarh University during the 2020-21 Campus Session. These companies include Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, and L&T. During the institutionalization process, which included participation from over 240 worldwide businesses, a record number of 3,750 undergraduate engineering students were chosen.
