Yes, an associate's degree in computer scince from Columbia College Vancouver is definitely worth it. An Associate Degree is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year university degree. An Associate Degree allows you to enter into the third year of a university’s Bachelor Degree programme in Canada. An associate degree in CS from Columbia College opens doors directly to the University of British Columbia and Simon Frasers University.

This is a common choice made by students who commute between Vancouver and Vancouver Island to further their education. Depending on the mode of transportation, the trip time may change. Taking a ferry from Tsawwassen to Duke Point or Swartz Bay, or flying from Vancouver International Airport to Nanaimo Airport, are the most popular ways to get from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. However, prestigious university ranking bodies such as U.S. News and Reports and QS Ranking have recognised Simon Fraser University for its MS programmes.
