Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi is generally considered to be a better college than DNLU Jabalpur.BHU is a renowned university known for its academic excellence. In 2024, NIRF ranked BHU #11 overall.If you consider my suggestion choosing a good college would more depend on your distance from that college as well as the course you are choosing for.

Yes, MGKVP Varanasi reserves seats for women candidates seeking admission at the university. According to the official admission brochure of MGKVP, there is a horizontal reservation of 20% of the total seats for women candidates in respective categories and cadres. Out of the total number of seats reserved for women, 2% seats are reserved for widows/divorced women (category-wise, in respective cadre).
