You should be class 12th pass with either cleared JEE or MH-CET with non-zero score. For open category. the PCM score should be 50% & for reserved category the PCM score should be 45%.

If you want to join a course in biotechnology then you must have a science background. Some universities offer B.Sc biotechnology which one can join after class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Graduates in all sciences, engineering technology and medicine are eligible for the postgraduate (M.Sc.) course in biotechnology.
