Candidates eligible for scholarships must mention it during the registration. Candidates can check for their eligibility before applying for the same. To apply for the scholarship, candidates must fill out the application form and mention about the scholarship they are eligible for. For final admission, candidates must get the original documents verified by the University.

VBSPU provides aid for candidates from various categories of SC/ST and OBC. The University provides relaxation through various schemes and scholarships. VBSPU scholarships focus on promoting the agenda of educating the masses. There are post-matric scholarships as well as scholarships for Kargil martyrs and natural disaster victims. The University provides scholarships for general-category candidates if their family income lies in the eligibility bar.

It is not very difficult to get into VBSPU for a specialisation in MBA if the candidate has an aggregate of 45% marks in graduation. However, SC/ST candidates get a 5% relaxation. Besides this, 50% of seats are allocated to the CUET- (PG) qualifiers, and the remaining 50% is drawn from PUCAT qualifications.

Yes, VBSPU has a placement cell known by the name of Central Training and Placement Cell (CTPC). The placement cell issues a planner which is with an every-year plan, wherein, the CTPC conducts orientation programs, special lectures/sessions, and life skill programs/workshops. CTPC concentrates on consistent collaboration with the recruiters which further brings in offers and deals for the benefit of the students. The VBSPU ‘Rozgar Mela’ or the job fair is the University’s secondary support to provide placement support. Besides this facility, the University’s primary support is to make sure to prepare the students sufficiently enough to achieve a job based on their skill set. The University helps the students prepare for the interviews and gives job-specific training providing them with a more practical approach to the work ahead.

Yes, VBSPU focuses on skill development and training facilities for the students through various means. At the end of every term, a job fair is conducted to provide equal opportunity to every student. The VBSPU placement cell conducts workshops, seminars, certification classes, campus placements, and much more. The campus placement provides access to not just the VBSPU campus but also to the affiliated college students.

Around 570+ colleges are affiliated with VBSPU, amongst which, there are colleges situated in Jaunpur with 2 government-aided colleges, 14 are aided and 203 are self-financed colleges. Whereas, the colleges situated in the Ghazipur district have 3 government-aided colleges, 8 aided, and 343 self-financed colleges which make a total of 354 affiliated colleges, respectively.

After considering all the specialisations, around 50%-70% of seats are allocated to the candidates who qualify the accepted entrances such as PUCAT, and JEE Main. For UG and PG courses, the CUET exam scores are taken into consideration for admission to fill 50% of seats. For courses such as BTech, JEE Main’s scores are considered to allocate 70% of seats, and the remaining 30% are allocated via the PUCAT exam. Some courses such as BCA and diplomas require the PUCAT exam after the qualification of 10+2.
